A Showing of Sticks At Rick’s

This showing is a first for me. It’s the first showing of my tobacco sticks indoors. My friend Rick conceived of the vertical hanging for the reception area in his business and proposed the idea. The technical doing of the installation included gallery hanging using filament, tiny metal securing collars, tubing, and fishing lure weights.

The response has been overwhelmingly joyous to these repurposed farm tools.

30 sticks are up. Two additional sticks are moseying around the office, accenting corners as they go.

I thank Rick for his vision and curation and, as always, I thank my Kentucky friends who regularly encourage me to paint more sticks from their barn.
