AMERICAN EGG – AMERICAN EGG 2 has two sides to it and a story. The story is after July 4th one year the flag had flown from my upstairs neighbor down to my fire escape. My neighbors said, “Enjoy it.” And I did. First I painted the gold burst side. Years later I painted the landscaped side.
It’s painted with dimensional acrylics and mixed medium.
AMERICAN EGG – AMERICAN EGG 2 has two sides both highly adorned and both with the American Egg at it’s center. Sensual and lively, one side is a birth/burst and the other a horizon/standing individuation.
The bursting side came first. Below is the aftermath of that creation. Rather than leaving it alone I took to the second side and created the horizon side.
