Seeing Voices, 2005

In 2005, Village Voice covers became canvas to me.

I’m sure it wasn’t the Village Voice’s first preference for their paper to be used as material in an artist’s work.  But it happened. I was able to engage because they existed. And I’m glad it did.

These have never been shown publicly. They’re a time capsule. Curious as a collection.
