Blue Jewelry Box

In the East Village of Manhattan there is still the Kmart where in 2002 I was stopped in my tracks walking through. I’d passed the women’s jewelry section and these two half circle shaped jewelry boxes spoke to me. I desired to paint them. The White I did first. The Blue came second.
